Hi! Your video is great because you explain everything but,….yeah BUT
…what are you doing,…this is not a wiener schnietzel,…it seems like
you absoloutely dont know what a wiener schnitzel is,…have you ever been
to austria or germany to really know what schnitzel is? …I am
really….I just don´t knmow what to write? ..YOu dont use real flesh as a
one piece,……..you could make hamburgers of your bought flesh..l.I don´t
know if only americans are watching your video,…and that ist ok,..because
the don´t need to know about a real schnitzl from ….Europe,..or just even
from the countireis that speak german..but …hey,….I don#t want to make
you feel bad or angry at me…I like your video really….but SIR ,
really,….stop calling it ” (Wiener Schnitzel). thats just a fake, a
lie,…call it how you want,…I live in
Europe and have been so often in Ausria or other European
countries,…-..that´s just a fake …or lie…..but,…I think,….thats
my own opinion,..that,…your “Schnitzel” are very tasty!!! Really! I think
it tastes goos,…I watched your whole video,..tasty,. but not a Schnitzel
or a real “Wiener Schnitzel” …by the way … a Wiener Schnitzel is even
not from a pig,….pork,……it IS made from VEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don´t
you have Wikipedia or Google? ……..but I tried your recipe,..it
tases great! 1!!! damn great!!! —-but it is a fake name at YOUTUBE ”
WIENER SCHnitzel” ….use the INTERNET to inform yourself! ..but
…your recipe tastes very good! Thank You! …don#t be angry ! I
like your video ,buddy!
sorry,.I do
A popular variation is made with pork instead of veal, because pork is
cheaper than veal (usually about half the price). To avoid mixing up
different products, the Austrian and German food committees have decided
that a “Wiener Schnitzel” must be made of veal. A Schnitzel made of pork
can be called “Schnitzel Wiener Art” or “Wiener Schnitzel vom Schwein”. The
Verwaltungsgericht Arnsberg 2009 decided about the acceptability of the
latter name. The result was that in common parlance in Germany, a “Wiener
Schnitzel” no more referred exclusively to a veal dish, but instead to a
breaded steak in general.
Gleichfalls!!
Bon appetit … oder … Guten Appetit … ;o)
I agree and that is why its just called Chicken Fried Steak or Country
Fried over here. I totally get what you’re saying. 😉
thanks for the insight … ;o) I am sure this Schnitzel tastes good, when
you are hungry! However ~ a good idea would still be … NOT to call it
WIENER Schnitzel ;o)
Its the American Schnitzel brought over by German/Austrian immigrants. Its
only based off the Schnitzel and not the real thing. When you head to the
areas the German world settled in America especially in Texas you get the
better variations of the popular Austrian dish.
I’ve seen it cooked with Veal in the States which is Kalb. And yes I’ve had
the real thing as well in Austria.
This is exactly what I thought it was when I went to Germany. The typical
Country Fried/Chicken Fried steak is an American variation of the popular
Weiner Schnitzel.
The actual weiner schnitzel is what the Chicken Fried or Country Fried is
based off of. It came from Austrian and German immigrants to the USA. What
you are referring to is more like a bratwurst.
When we cook chicken fried steaks, we prefer the pork to the beef. It just
seems to lend itself better to the seasonings we use! Yummy!!
Wow, you made the bread pudding! Thanks!
I am going to try it. By the way I made the bread pudding and it was
fantastic!
Hardy (probably tasty) Country-Cooking … yes. Wienerschnitzel ? … no!
What you are doing here, has absolutely nothing to do with Wienerschnitzel.
And ~ there are NO “variations” to Wienerschnitzel either. It is a Classic,
and the most traditional dish of AUSTRIA (not Germany). Wien = Vienna …
and Vienna is in Austria! Aren’t you glad you got this little lesson? No
hard feelings I hope ;o)
