    looks like at first…

      No it’s the edible water bottle

      No I don’t think so. The dew drop things are basically just clear and bland
      jello. These are those “edible water bottle” things people were all over
      for a bit I think.

      You’re right that they totally look similar! In this case, they are made
      with two different materials. The Japanese raindrop/dewdrop cake is a solid
      agar gel (made from seaweed). The fried water before it’s fried has a
      liquid inside with a thin layer of calcium alginate gel on the outside
      (made from algae).

      i’ve made batter without egg many times before and it works perfectly fine
      if not even better you have a harder & crispier batter…far out how dumb
      can you be?…I know for a fact it works as batter as far as water
      goes…well like I said the calcium holds that in place as you can see from
      the video!

      it’s one of them. You can’t just haphazardly remove random ingredients from
      an experiment and expect it to have the same result.

      holding the water not the egg haha

      This video proves it works with the egg. You’re the one who states that it
      won’t without it.

      calcium alginate holds the water or liquid in place, then no matter what
      you use on the outside for batter you only fry it long enough to cook the
      batter not cook the calcium alginate. So of course it’s practical you seen
      in this video for yourself it works now how would it be any different with
      or without using egg?
