Thanks for your questions, Angie Abd Al Rahman. The peanut oil is for deep
frying the balls. If you don’t have it, use a mildly flavored vegetable
oil–safflower, canola, or even a mild olive oil. Adding more cheese to the
mix is a good thing because it makes the balls even cheesier, adding more
yummy flavor. Hope you try the recipe.
About how many mac n cheese balls does this recipe yield?
+Allrecipes Thank you so much, I’m going to make these for my class. 🙂
If you use a 1-1/2-inch size cookie scoop, the recipe will make around
15-16 balls, Sharangah Arul.
ฺBefore I die, I must try this once.
I don’t care how many hours I do need to dance my fat off.
Mix some cayenne pepper with it and I’m sure it will be fire.
does it really need the freezer for 4 hours?
Two hours will do it, misterdrew 42692. Freezing the mac ‘n cheese mixture
helps hold the balls together when they are deep fried.
like this if you’re watching cuz you’re hungry lol
What happens if I don’t freeze it?
Omg it’s all about cheese @@ too much fat… But it looks so delicious like
i can imagine i’m in heaven if I have a bite @@
Who eats Mac n cheese with a spoon?

I’d eat it as is after you put in all of the cheese mixed with the boxed
Mac n cheese. I love extra cheesy Mac n cheese
sure… no spoon needed, just a cookie scoop. lolwut?
FOUR HOURS?? man I wanted to eat this tonight… ?
That’s not macaroni and cheese that’s cheese with a little bit of macaroni
pasta drizzled in ? so much cholesterol
This looks sooo good…and disastrously unhealthy.
This looks incredible! Could it work with panko breadcrums instead of the
regular breadcrums? Thank you.
Yes, Charlot123, panko crumbs would make a terrific substitution for
regular bread crumbs.
Do we have to use peanut oil and add more cheese to the mix???
Can’t wait tell food stamps come in now so I can get the ingredients
Hahaaa! Awesome comment ML!
