For anyone who thinks this is dangerous, frying anything can be dangerous,
you really need to keep your mind on what your doing. These modern pressure
cookers aren’t gonna blow up, there made different from those older models
that did blow up.
Sorry you feel that way, but this is exactly the way Colonel Sanders
started out and created KFC. You can cook with oil in a pressure cooker,
but you do it carefully. I hope this helps you.
You fried it in the pressure cooker, then when you pressure cooked it for 8
minutes, did you leave it in the oil? Or did you remove the oil and
pressure cook it without oil?

Although, if the pressure cooker developed a crack or blew up, oil will be
everywhere and ignite in a huge fire. That would be the dangerous part of
pressure frying. Just do it outside away from the house or garage etc. Use
a propane grill side burner or turkey fryer burner. The end product is
phenomenal.

You are an idiot – this is highly dangerous! You run a very real risk of
the whole thing blowing up & showering you & everything around you with
super hot oil, & it won’t be nice.
And therein lies the problem Missy. Not everyone would do as you or I do &
research & use their own sound judgement before attempting something like
this. They would just think well if he does it & he puts a video on youtube
showing how it’s done then it must be safe.
And you are right with the safety aspect of it. But speaking for myself I
would hope that everyone would do as I do and do enough research and use
their own sound judgement before attempting anything that could cause them
or their families harm. I appreciate your comment and understand that your
comment was more out of concern for others safety.

Logastina makes a fairly safe cooker that is oil-compatible, but I’d read
lots of reviews to be on the safe side.
I used a normal pressure cooker just when you seal it and fry keep your
heat on low. Thanks for watching

+Rose Wilkinson lol ok… so this method is safer in the 1960s version of
the pressure cooker?….
Sure you can – if you want to run the risk of either getting showered in
superheated oil or killing yourself!

I would be totally UNSAFE to pressure cook using oil.
