  1. Destiny108☆ says:

Can I make this exactly the same way but without peeling the potatoes ???

    • BakeLikeAPro says:

+Destiny108☆ Yes indeed, just scrub your potatoes a little bit, to make
sure they are clean, and then cut them up. You’ll actually get more
nutritional value by not peeling them.

  2. GemMakesVideos says:

    isn’t red potatoes sweet potatoes

    • BakeLikeAPro says:

+BenRoblox Nope. Sweet potatoes are far different. They are orange inside
and are very large for the most part. They are extremely firm, and are hard
to cut too. That said – they DO make excellent fries too !

    • GemMakesVideos says:

      Thank you.

  6. Michelle Rutiaga says:

What are the kinds of seasoning I can use

  7. Jody Pickett says:

This is how my Dad makes his delicious fries. Red potatoes, soaked in water
for 4 hours, pat dry and fry away. This potato is far superior to the
russet and no need for blanching or twice fry technique. I enjoyed the
    show.

  8. Shekhar Pandey says:

Wow that made me hungry…. :)

  9. Kristina D. Johnson says:

I love this idea. Can brown potatoes be cut and cooked like this the same
    way?

    • BakeLikeAPro says:

      +Kristina D. Johnson 🙂

    • Kristina D. Johnson says:

    • BakeLikeAPro says:

+Kristina D. Johnson Hi Kristina, thanks for watching. If you mean Russets,
then yes….. they work great also. I use so many
types of potatoes when making fries. Russets work well too.

    🙂
    Greetings from India

    • BakeLikeAPro says:

+abhijay tyagi Hi abhijay, I’m glad my video helped you out 🙂 I love
fries 🙂 I make them quite often. Cut them into any shape you wish, thin,
fat, – whatever which way you like. Remember to rinse them a few times in
water to get the starch off of them, before you deep fry them. By the way –
if you wish to see me doing these in another video, please watch this one,
it’s another newer video of me making French fries here:
https://youtu.be/n_VFkf7mEI8 I hope you enjoy a great Birthday with your
mom 🙂 and wish her a Happy Birthday from me too 🙂

I have a deep fryer, and I always put them into the tray and drop the tray
right in with all the fries, and then just lift it up after a few seconds
then drop them back in. I was looking for how to make them stop sticking
together, and now I know that I should wash them to stop them from
    sticking.

  15. Christoffer Jean says:

  18. Lucky Warrior says:

    My mouth is so watery!?

  19. Noreen Brihoum says:

What about seasoning and what kind of oil do u use??

    • BakeLikeAPro says:

+Noreen Brihoum I use either vegetable or canola oil when I fry. Either of
these works well. Salt is the the only thing you need, and vinegar
sprinkled on is another great addition. I have a preference for malt
      vinegar – so yummy.

  20. Shakir Mir says:

Right now I am going to make them . they look rather yamy
