ONE POT CHEF COOKBOOKS – PAPERBACKS AND EBOOKS:

Deep Fried Mars Bars are one of the most unhealthy desserts you could imagine! Invented in Scotland, a Mars chocolate bar is frozen and dipped in cake batter, then deep fried until crisp and golden on the outside and gooey in the middle. Not recommend for regular consumption, but good for a (very occasional) treat – Give it a go!

Alright I have to confess my sin. One day I bought a mars bar and merenda.
I dipped the mars bar into the merenda and slow eat it. That taste was
close to orgasm. Unhealthy but definetely delicious. Good Lord I want
    another one now.

I buy mars bar from shop and go to the chippy ask them to batter it, its
    the nicest thing ever!

    • Azz K says:

+Reezy Arts I imagine most chip shops would do it, especially in Scotland,
I don’t know if this is true or not but apparently the deep fried mars bar
was invented when a drunk Scottish man was coming home from the pub one
night and stopped in at a chip shop and asked them to deep fry a Mars bar

    • Jessica Facé says:

+MorLadGaming this comment makes it sound like you do this regularly. you
do realize they’re like 1000 calories.

    • david golden says:

  16. dj morgan says:

Do you guyes like deep fat fried mars bars?

  17. aiddogg3 says:

best batter is flour water and quarter cup of soda water, also have your
fryer oil a bit hotter, need to get the skin/outside of it nice and colored
and hot also don’t scrape too much batter off when taking out of batter
bowl, unlike fish don’t want any areas where no batter occurs

  18. TheGameingCat says:

    don’t freeze cool them

  19. Radbert Grimmig says:

The candy bars are plenty sweet anyways. It might be a good idea to use
less sugar for the batter, or even prepare a batter without sugar. This
avoids sweetness overkill and gives a nice contrast between the inside and
    outside instead.
