deep fryer, I’d be as big as a house.

I’ve never had fruit cake, and always have wanted to
I had a fruitcake that I liked once or twice… most store-bought varieties
are pretty awful though, including the one that they fried in this video.
+Hugh Janus its defo a love it or hate it thing. its basically almond
paste. we have a shop here called lidl that sells it with flavourings in
and covered in chocolate. my fave has to be the rum and raisin one
+Faenum Marzipan is so good, I haven’t had it in years! I used to see it
for years in bakeries and stores but I had no idea what it was, I thought
it was a decoration or something! lol
+Shane K. our English fruitcake is nothing like this, our Xmas cake even
has lots of booze in it. we don’t use lurid green cherry’s etc, we use real
dried fruit, and lots of it, along with lots of spices, sugar and treacle!
then covered with marzipan and icing. soo tasty, I’ve made my own this
year, if smells amazing!
