What is your favourite dish to have with luchi? [Saptarshi likes his with _alu’r torkari_ (potato curry), while Insiya prefers _chhola’r dal_.]

+Rukmini Mukherjee Use the parchment paper trick shown in the video. That really helps with rolling rounds luchis with ease.

    • Bong Eats says:

+Manali Chatterjee Thank you so much. We post new videos every Friday. The music is composed by this Calcutta-based band called Bemanan. Do check out some of their other stuff on YouTube. You’ll enjoy it. 🙂

    • K BHATTACHARYYA says:

      Very beautiful

  5. Devdutta Nandi says:

What an amazing presentation… Never seen such a beautiful videography for bengali cuisine… Most of them are usually boring… Next kosha maangsho or bhapa ilish 🙂

    • Bong Eats says:

Hello Devdutta, welcome to the channel! So happy you liked the video! We already have a bhapa ilish recipe up (the kolapata version). Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/5A-wXBJh6iI

    • Devdutta Nandi says:

Bong Eats Just happened to see that 🙂 Another universal favorite would be chingrir malai curry which has so many variations… Would love to see how you guys do it 🙂 All the best guys!

    • Roni Rex says:

Nandi, I 100% agree with your comment!

  6. wÎrelessKÏller says:

Measuring the size of the luchi with scale … my mom would laugh hard on that

  7. Sukvinderjeet Singh says:

koob bhalo. Carry on, doing a great job.

  8. Shruti Sarkar says:

i am a vegetarian, i would love to see dishes like aloor dom and other vegetarian bengali dishes ? i am in love with this channel….

  9. Mayuri Chatterjee says:

The more I watch your videos, the more I get enticed by it. The videography and the detailing is amazing! Just like those fancy channels showing food in an articulate way. Most of the bengali/Indian recipes found on youtube are a bit chaotic if I may say so…but to present it in this way looks appealing while retaining it’s simplicity. Good job guys!
I can finally recommend a good channel like yours to my friends who want to know about bengali cuisine. 😀

  10. abuladula says:

    terrible music..got a headache

    • Aniket Roy says:

abuladula Exactly, everything is ok but the music is so much irritating

  11. Ayesha Siddiqa says:

fan from Pakistan Keep up the good work

  12. debolina bhattacharjee says:

Now this is what I call a Bengali presentation…very good…we simply rock

  13. Indrajit Karmakar says:

Seems very professional. You need to be expertise to get such results. Thank you!

  14. madhulikarcchabi says:

Became a fan of your videos. This one with its background score is perfect.I have never seen so clean, professional videos on Bengali recipes and your measurements are awesome. Many Bengalis do not understand the necessity of standardisation and they prefer the trial and error method. Whats so wrong about standardisation, I wonder! I have shared your video on Facebook. BTW, though the background score for this one is fabulous, why don’t you experiment with similar stuff for your other videos? mostly you have repeated the background music – which is sort of boring… 😀 You can produce excellent results there. Good audio visuals have special impacts too. All the best.

  15. S Roy says:

God has stufed all the holiness in luchi?

  16. Shreya Maolanker says:

Best thing : Gave credits to the deserving person for the amazing trick! We need more like you. 🙂

  17. Miss Fit says:

brilliant..the prrson who is cooking is simply genius

  18. Dipanjan Bhattacharya says:

    āĻĻā§‡āĻ–āĻ˛ā§‡āĻ‡ āĻŦā§āĻ˛āĻžāĻĄāĻ¸ā§āĻ—āĻžāĻ°!

  19. Sharmisttha Dutta says:

Excellent videography of our so dearly Luchi…. Very nice n tidy preparation of all the Bengali recipes you have cooked so far..
Once again Congrats for such a nice job… keep it up ????

  20. Chiranjib Ghorai says:

The greatest mystery in culinery world is making perfectly circular luchi 🙁
